The Public Art Task Force (P.A.T.F.) is a volunteer committee that supports the Public Art Master Plan while advising on public art policies and priorities, reviewing public art donations, and providing advice and expertise to City staff.
The Public Art Task Force has representatives from stakeholder organizations and groups, and individual community members.
The City of Oshawa is accepting applications for volunteer positions on the Public Art Task Force until April 13 at 5 p.m.

All members shall have a connection to Oshawa.
City of Oshawa employees are not eligible to apply.
Members of the Public Art Task Force will not be eligible to apply for public art competitions, as they would be in a conflict of interest.
Only members of the Task Force may vote on any issues.
Skills required from representatives in the community include professional experience related to the following:
- urban planning
- visual, literary and/or performing arts
- art history
- arts administration
- visual arts consulting
- civil engineering
- heritage research
- architecture
- landscape design and planning
Applicants that meet the eligibility criteria will be reviewed by a selection committee. The committee, consisting of two Standing Members, the current P.A.T.F. Chair, one Appointed Member, and one City staff will review and appoint new members.
